| Having asked literally thousands of people over the years, "Are you saved?" we have come to expect a variety of answers, almost all of them reflect a lack of certainty. The average professing Christian today is characterized by worry, fear and insecurity on eternal matters. People often will say, "I sure hope so." Others will say, "I'm working on it." Some have said, "Well, if I'm not saved, nobody is," and other such "wonderful" expressions of uncertainty. In this pamphlet Dr. Smith puts two things very simply: If you are not saved, you can be and should be; and if you are saved, it is your spiritual birthright to know it and to be absolutely certain of it. |
