The War in Iran

As the Middle East turmoil continues, the war waged by the United States is a topic of much discussion. I have been repeatedly asked as to how I feel about it.
1. We can never be happy about war. No matter how necessary it may be, it is not a happy occasion.
2. In the case of Iran, the United States did not start this conflict. Iran has been killing and maiming thousands of Americans and thousands of Israelis for the past 47 years.
3. My studied opinion is that we should have done this decades ago. Putting up with the Iran-generated terrorism has cost many thousands of lives (Americans and Israelis).
4. The Islamic regime in Iran is a death cult. They expect to die and take as many people with them in death as they possibly can. This is why they have been bombing 17 other countries during this ordeal. The more they kill, they believe, the greater Paradise will be for them.
5. Their lust for a nuclear bomb is directly related to their Islamic death cult philosophy. The bigger bomb does more damage. If they had one, there’s little doubt they would use it.
6. There is no reasoning with these radicals. Furthermore, they cannot be trusted. They will say or do anything to achieve their radical agenda.
7. Many of the Iranian people are happy to see the USA step in and deal with the regime. It is, as war always is, a very dirty business, but we cannot be naïve about it. We pray for our leadership, our military personnel and for our nation. We could wish that there would be no war, but these Islamic zealots are murderous thugs. Taking the fight to them was long overdue.
