USA Brokers Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas

On October 8, President Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had agreed to end the war between them. Hamas has agreed to release the hostages, and both have agreed to a ceasefire.
This current conflict got underway on October 7, 2023, when Hamas initiated a military attack inside Israel. They killed over 1,200 people and took another 251 people hostage.
President Trump laid out the details of a peace plan on September 30. He told Hamas that it was their last chance at survival before a massive strike to annihilate them would be made.
For years, Hamas (Gaza) and Hezbollah (Lebanon) have fired one or more rockets into Israel on a daily basis. Both Hamas and Hezbollah are Islamically-driven terrorist groups.
Thankfully, the deal has been struck, but the hatred for Israel has not been resolved.
Those terrorist groups cannot be trusted even for a moment.
The Hamas fighters will be relocated to some other country, but even most of the Arab (Islamic) countries do not want them. Ultimately, someone will take them, but you can be sure they will regroup wherever they go.
The world leaders, including President Trump, talk about “peace,” but it is always illusive. The Arab hatred of Israel goes back historically for several thousand years. Aside from the miracle of a genuine conversion, a surrender to the mandates of Scripture can be no abiding (long-term) peace. The longing for “peace and safety” is ever-present, but Satan and his cohorts are always a threat.
If someone storms into your house with weapons in hand, you have a choice. You either fight, or you will die. So, it is with Israel. They were forced into this conflict, and we understand why.
We never like to see violence, but when the enemy comes, you cannot sit idly by and let them do their damage. In any such conflict, many people are injured and killed. Many of them will be innocent civilian bystanders.
The Jews have been persecuted through the centuries, unlike any other people on the planet. They, as we, are not perfect, but they have held a special place in God’s plans for the world.
The promises that the Lord made to Abraham are still in the Bible and still hold true.
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”—Gen. 12:1–3.
So, yes, we stand solidly with Israel. We support their right to the land and their right to exist as a nation. At the same time, we, without hesitating, declare to them that Christ Jesus is their Messiah and we urge them to receive Him.
We salute President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with the other negotiators, on their peace deal. We are glad for it, but we are also keeping a close eye on things.
We are also keeping an eye on the sky in anticipation of the second coming of our Lord. God has an end-time plan, and He will work it out as He has said He would.
